Maha Shivaratri celebrations at edupayala jatara

 Maha shivaratri celebrations are held most spectacular way in Edupayala jatara, said Minister Tanniru Harish Rao.  In celebration of Mahashivratri, Minister Harish Rao on behalf of the state government presented silk cloths to Mata Vana Durga Bhavani of Edupayala and started the fair festivities.  He was accompanied by Medak MLA Padma Devender Reddy, Narsapur MLA Madan Reddy, Collector Rajarshi Shah, Additional Collectors Pratima Singh, Ramesh, IFCO Director Devender Reddy.

 On this occasion, temple chairman Satelli-Balagoud, Eo Sara Srinivas and priests gave a warm welcome to the temple.  Harish Rao said on this occasion..

 He said that after the formation of Telangana state, the Edupayala festival is developing day by day. He said that two crore rupees have been sanctioned by the state government for the grand celebration of the festival.  He said that on the occasion of Mahashivratri, the people of the state should receive the blessings of the Goddess.
