Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Visits Ailing Telangana EX CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao Hyderabad, Jan 4: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy paid a visit to the residence of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on Thursday.

KCR is currently recovering from hip replacement surgery that took place last month. Arriving in Hyderabad via a special aircraft, Jagan Mohan Reddy personally drove to KCR’s residence in Banjara Hills to convey his regards. During the visit, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief presented a bouquet and shawl to KCR, inquiring about his health.

Notably, Jagan’s visit coincided with his sister Y.S. Sharmila officially merging her YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) with the Congress party in Delhi. This meeting marked Jagan’s first interaction with KCR since the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) lost power to the Congress in recent Telangana elections. Welcoming Jagan at the Begumpet Airport were BRS leader V. Prashant Reddy, P. Rajeshwar Reddy, and other members.

KCR has been recuperating at home since his discharge from Yashoda Hospital on December 15. The former Chief Minister had undergone hip replacement surgery on December 8 after sustaining a fracture from a fall at his farmhouse in Erravalli. Several prominent political figures, including Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, had previously visited KCR during his hospital stay.
