Hyderabad, February 18
Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao unveiled the book Kakatiya Coins by Dr. Raja Reddy at a function held at Kalakriti Art Gallery in Banjara Hills. Speaking on this occasion, Minister Harish Rao said that he is happy to unveil the book ‘Kakatiya Coins’ which describes the real conditions of the Kakatiya Empire which has a rich history.
Dr. Raja Reddy, a noted expert in the study of coins, conducted a research on 1,500 Kakatiya coins in the Nampally State Museum on the instructions of Kakatiya Heritage Trust manager Papa Rao.
After a lot of effort, they examined the coins and brought them to a conclusion by connecting them with Kakatiya inscriptions. He created this book with the details of his research to keep the details of the coins of a great empire in front of the public. He said that he was proud to participate in the Kakatiya Coins book launch of such importance.
Raja Reddy is a famous neurologist While serving as a doctor, on the other side he is engaged in the great work of constructing the history of Telangana with evidence. Special congratulations and thanks to Raja Reddy for his efforts.
We still remember the Kakatiyas who ruled from 750 to 1350 AD because of the good deeds they did. There are many things that we can be proud of in the rule of other kingdoms including Satavahanas and Kakatiyas who ruled Telangana. There is a great need to bring them out with evidence. More research needs to be done. There is a need to write down real history with evidence and pass it on to future generations.
Once again I would like to thank the Kakatiya Heritage Trust for preserving the heritage of Kakatiyas and for their efforts in getting Ramappa Temple UNESCO recognition. To continue this great effort, I assure you that there will be necessary cooperation from the government and personally.
