Title: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Concludes Successful International Visit

Hyderabad, Jan 22: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy returned on Monday after a week-long visit to three nations. H. Venugopal Rao, recently appointed as advisor to the government on protocol and public relations, welcomed the Chief Minister at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Accompanied by the Minister for Information Technology and Industries, D. Sridhar Babu, and other officials, Revanth Reddy participated in the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland. His itinerary also included visits to London and Dubai, marking his first foreign visit since assuming office last month.

The government reported the visit as highly successful, citing investment deals worth over Rs 40,000 crore signed with various companies during the WEF conclave. This amount nearly doubles the investment secured by the state last year at Davos.

The investment deals, concluded positively with companies such as Adani Group, JSW, Web Werks, Tata Technologies, BL Agro, Surgical Instruments Group Holdings, Godi Energy, Aragen Life Sciences, Innovera Pharmaceuticals, QCentrio, Systra, Uber, and o9 Solutions, are expected to create over 2,500 jobs directly.

In London and Dubai, Revanth Reddy’s focus centered on the rejuvenation plans for the Musi River in Hyderabad. His London visit aimed to learn about the management of the River Thames, seeking insights and best practices. Discussions with officials and experts of the Port of London Authority, the governing body of the River Thames, were part of this knowledge-sharing initiative.

On Sunday, Revanth Reddy visited Dubai Waterfront, exploring the linkage between water, land, and buildings and its socio-economic impact on local communities. The discussions encompassed project management issues, international funding, investment possibilities, execution challenges, costs, timelines, and the potential replication of successful models in Hyderabad as part of the Musi River rejuvenation project.
