
“Government Ensures Non-political Involvement in TSPSC Board Appointments”

The government has successfully executed the appointment of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) board members and chairman, emphasizing a non-political approach in government job appointments. The appointments reflect a blend of seasoned civil servants and accomplished academics, promoting a fair representation on the board.

The newly appointed chairman is retired Director General of Police (DGP) Mahender Reddy, known for his capability to steer TSPSC with authority. Joining him are retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Anita Rajendra, retired Indian Postal Services officer Amir Ullah Khan, distinguished professor Dr. Narri Yadayah, Power Department’s Executive Director Y. Ram Mohan Rao, and retired Municipal Commissioner Palvai Rajini, who has a background in legal education.

The government has prioritized social balance in the appointments, ensuring representation from various social classes. Mahender Reddy, an ex-police officer, assumes the pivotal role of chairman. Anita Rajendran, from the Gowda caste, brings extensive IAS experience across ten departments and holds an LLM from Osmania University.


Belonging to the Kurma caste, Dr. Narri Yadayah serves as a professor in the JNTU Triple E Department.

Y. Ram Mohan Rao, falling under the ST (Red) category, holds the position of Executive Director in Genco, possessing a background in civil engineering and MBA.

Palvai Rajini, a member of the SC (Madiga) category, served as a Group One officer before opting for voluntary retirement. With prior experience as a teacher, she brings expertise in rural development and municipal administration.
Amir Ullah Khan, representing the Muslim minority, has an extensive background in the Indian Postal Services, having served as the Director of Civil Services Coaching Department at Urdu University and as a Visiting Professor at Nalsar University, MCRHRD. The government’s commitment to social inclusivity and professional diversity is evident in these strategic appointments to the TSPSC board.
