International Firms Eye Moosi Riverfront Project in Hyderabad

In a bid to revamp the Moosi riverfront in Hyderabad, renowned companies from across the globe have expressed keen interest. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy held a crucial meeting on Tuesday with representatives from various companies, following his recent visits to London and Dubai, where he personally inspected riverfront projects.

During his sojourn in Dubai, the Chief Minister engaged in a special session with foreign companies, design planning architecture firms, and consultancy experts. Officials from the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority and Musi Development Corporation are currently in negotiations with several firms for the ambitious project.

Among the notable encounters, representatives from Meinhardt, a Singapore-based company, met with CM Revanth Reddy. They delivered a comprehensive presentation showcasing their project designs from different countries and proposed models for the Musi Development in Hyderabad.

Emphasizing the need to align designs with Hyderabad’s future requirements, CM Revanth Reddy highlighted the city’s impending transformation due to the expansion of the Outer Ring Road, Regional Ring Road, and upcoming railway lines.

The discussions underscored Moosi’s potential for riverfront development, with a focus on adapting to Hyderabad’s evolving landscape. The delegation, led by Main Hearted Group CEO Omar Shahzad and Suresh Chandra, engaged in constructive dialogue with CM Revanth Reddy.

The meeting, attended by Government Chief Secretary Shantikumari, Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Authority Danakishore, HMDA Joint Commissioner, and Musi Development Corporation MD Amrapali, signifies a significant step forward in realizing the ambitious Moosi riverfront project.
