Lal Bahadur Shastri’s Grandson Vibhakar Shastri Resigns from Congress
New Delhi, Feb 14: Vibhakar Shastri, the grandson of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, has stepped down from the Congress party, marking another setback for the grand old party.
He submitted his resignation to the party’s national president, Mallikarjuna Kharge.
“Honorable Congress President Shri Khargeji! Respected Sir, I hereby tender my resignation from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress,” Shastri posted this message on X.
