A four-year-old child lost his life in a stray dog attack in the Amberpet area of Hyderabad. The child was identified as Pradeep, son of Gangadhar who had taken him to work at a car servicing center in the area. While Gangadhar was working, the boy went out on the street where he was surrounded and attacked by the stray dogs. Despite being taken to the hospital, Pradeep was declared dead on arrival. The incident has caused deep sorrow to the family and community. In response to the tragedy, various government officials have expressed their condolences and pledged to take steps to prevent similar incidents. Minister KTR expressed his deep grief and assured that measures will be taken to prevent the increase in the population of stray dogs. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has announced a special meeting with GHMC and veterinary officials to discuss the problem of stray dogs and monkeys in Hyderabad. Mayor Vijayalaxmi expressed her condolences to the family and stated that GHMC will take necessary measures to create awareness among the public to adopt stray dogs without disturbing their food.
