A new floating bridge has been unveiled for tourists at RK Beach in Visakhapatnam, enhancing the coastal city’s allure. Constructed with an investment of Rs. 1.6 crores by the Jagan government, the bridge was inaugurated on Sunday by Rajya Sabha member YV Subba Reddy and Minister Gudivada Amarnath.

MP YV Subba Reddy expressed confidence that the floating bridge would draw more tourists to the serene city of Visakhapatnam. He highlighted Chief Minister Jagan’s efforts to develop various beaches across the state and hinted at an imminent event to inaugurate the administrative capital in Visakhapatnam.

Renowned for its picturesque beaches, Visakhapatnam attracts tourists from across the Telugu-speaking states. The addition of the floating bridge is expected to augment the array of attractions alongside Ramakrishna Beach, Kailasagiri, Thotlakonda, Dutch Cemeteries, Rushikonda Beach, and Bheemili Beach.

The floating sea bridge promises tourists a unique experience, allowing them to traverse and observe the waves up close, enriching their visit with unforgettable memories. The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority spearheaded the initiative to establish this bridge.
