In Ayodhya, all ongoing construction work on the Ram temple is slated for completion by December 2024, as announced by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
Anil Mishra, a Trust member, stated that while certain projects within the complex may require additional time, the aim is to finish them by the end of the following year.
The Yogi Adityanath government has also imposed deadlines for ongoing development projects in Ayodhya, extending beyond the temple complex. With projects valued at Rs 32,000 crore underway, both state and central governments are actively involved in the town’s transformation.
Key projects in progress include the Shri Ram Kund, Karm Kshetra for rituals, Hanuman Gadhi, Shri Ramlala Purakalik Darushan Mandal, and numerous other amenities such as open theatres and dining facilities.
Furthermore, plans are underway for the construction of twelve additional temples within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, alongside facilities to accommodate devotees.
Upon completion, the temple is set to stand 161 feet tall, 235 feet wide, and 360 feet long, embodying the grandeur of its historical significance.
Mishra emphasized the Trust’s commitment to maintaining momentum in the construction process, ensuring timely completion of the revered temple.
