New Delhi, March 19: The judicial custody of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, in the excise policy case has been extended till April 6 by a Delhi court on Tuesday.

Sisodia was presented before Special Judge MK Nagpal of Rouse Avenue Court following the expiry of his previously extended judicial custody. The case is being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

The Supreme Court had dismissed the curative petitions filed by the senior AAP leader last week, challenging the dismissal of review pleas against the apex court’s 2023 verdict denying him bail.

Sisodia was arrested by the ED on March 9, 2023, following his earlier arrest by the CBI on February 26 last year in connection with the same case.
