Actor Raj Arjun, acclaimed for his role in the Telugu film ‘Razakar: The Silent Genocide Of Hyderabad’, is garnering widespread praise for his portrayal of Kasim Razvi, a controversial figure in the history of Hyderabad. In the movie, Arjun embodies the character of Razvi, depicting him as a ruthless and emotionless individual with similarities to infamous leaders like Hitler and Saddam Hussein.

Reflecting on his character, Arjun remarked, “When delving into the psyche of the character, one cannot escape the impact it leaves behind. Kasim Razvi’s portrayal in ‘Razakar’ has deeply affected me. I’m gradually emerging from the persona that Razvi has cast upon me. I believe this role ranks among my best performances alongside ‘Secret Star’ and ‘Thalaivi’. Kasim Razvi’s persona resonates with that of historical tyrants like Hitler and Saddam Hussein—a barbaric figure devoid of empathy.”

Arjun also highlighted the unique and compelling roles he has been offered in southern cinema, expressing appreciation for the complexity and depth of characters portrayed. He stated, “The roles I’ve been offered in southern cinema are exceptional and distinctive. Despite often playing the antagonist, these characters possess layers of complexity and emotions. As an actor, I find immense satisfaction in portraying these roles that offer a rich narrative arc and authenticity.”

Arjun’s portrayal in ‘Razakar’ underscores his versatility and talent as an actor, earning acclaim from audiences and critics alike for his compelling performance.
