Hyderabad: The makers of director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming entertainer have unveiled the first look of Venkatesh as Lt. Colonel Venkat Reddy, marking the actor’s completion of 40 glorious years in the film industry.
The first-look poster presents Venkatesh in an Indian Army camouflage uniform, sporting sunglasses and a scarf while standing beside a rugged SUV. His composed yet intense appearance portrays him as a strict and seasoned military officer.
According to the character details revealed by the makers, Lt. Colonel Venkat Reddy serves in the Indian Army and specialises in counter-terrorism and hostage negotiation. The Army insignia and crossed-swords emblem featured in the backdrop further strengthen the film’s military setting.
The rugged landscape, muted blue-green sky and imposing SUV give the poster a gritty, adventurous and patriotic feel, while the earthy camouflage tones complement Venkatesh’s military look.
Venkatesh-Kalyan Ram combination
The film brings together Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram, with their contrasting personalities and camaraderie expected to be one of the major attractions. The combination is also expected to add humour and energy to Anil Ravipudi’s trademark style of entertainment.
The makers had earlier unveiled Kalyan Ram’s look on the occasion of his birthday. Keerthy Suresh is paired opposite Venkatesh, while Krithi Shetty stars opposite Kalyan Ram.
