Forbes’ 2024 Billionaires List has spotlighted Indian brothers, Jahan Mistry and Feroze Mistry, as part of the world’s top 25 young billionaires. Aged 25 and 27 respectively, their combined net worth reaches an impressive Rs. 81,631 crores, inherited from their late father, former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry.

These young billionaires, citizens of Ireland but residing in Mumbai, owe their fortune to their family’s 18.4% stake in Tata Sons. Jahan, a Yale University alumnus, and Feroze, who pursued studies at Warwick University, represent a new generation of wealth in India.

Their family’s legacy, rooted in the business empire of grandfather Pallonji Mistry and uncle Shahpoor Mistry, chairman of Shapoorji Pallonji Group, underscores their prominent position in the global billionaire landscape.

Meanwhile, Forbes also recognized Livia Voigt, a 19-year-old college student from Brazil, as the world’s youngest billionaire, with a net worth of $1.1 billion. Voigt’s substantial stake in electrical equipment manufacturer WEG solidifies her remarkable financial status.
