Amaravati, April 17: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan conveyed optimism on Wednesday, expressing their belief that Andhra Pradesh is on the brink of experiencing ‘Rama Rajyam’, a state of ideal governance.

Marking the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his conviction that the people of Andhra Pradesh are soon to relish the tranquility of ‘Rama Rajyam’. Drawing parallels with the legendary rule of Lord Ram from the Treta Yuga, Naidu emphasized the essence of governance resonating with the populace’s aspirations for peace and prosperity.

“In the tale of Rama lies the eternal wisdom that governance should prioritize the welfare of the people above all else. Such leadership fosters prosperity in villages and fosters an atmosphere of harmony,” remarked the former Andhra Pradesh chief minister.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan, the prominent figure from Jana Sena Party, echoed Naidu’s sentiments, asserting that the alliance between TDP, JSP, and BJP endeavors to usher in the era of ‘Rama Rajyam’ by putting an end to what they perceive as detrimental governance.

On the auspicious Ram Navami, Kalyan distributed B-forms to JSP candidates vying for both Assembly and Lok Sabha seats, underscoring the commitment to bring about a transformative change in the state’s political landscape.

Expressing confidence in the NDA alliance’s prospects, Kalyan urged party candidates to remain accessible to the electorate at all times. He laid emphasis on the candidates’ pledge to prioritize the state’s development agenda, including crucial projects like Polavaram, river interlinking initiatives, and the creation of avenues for education and employment.

With the JSP contesting 21 Assembly and two Lok Sabha seats under the TDP-BJP alliance, the stage is set for a riveting electoral battle as Andhra Pradesh braces for simultaneous elections to its 175-member Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats scheduled on May 13.

As the political discourse resonates with the promise of ‘Rama Rajyam’, the electorate eagerly anticipates the unfolding of a new chapter in the state’s governance trajectory, with hopes pinned on the ideals of peace, prosperity, and equitable development.
