NSUI State President Criticizes BJP’s Contribution to Telangana Development
Hyderabad April 29
The State President of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), Balmur Venkat, launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing them of neglecting Telangana’s development. Venkat, accompanied by Congress leaders including Addanki Dayakar and Bellaiah Naik, lambasted the BJP’s contributions, likening them to a “donkey’s egg.”
In a fervent campaign speech at Gandhi Bhavan, Venkat highlighted various instances where he claimed the BJP fell short in fulfilling promises to Telangana. He criticized the BJP for what he described as insufficient funding to the state, citing examples such as the failure to grant national status to the Medaram fair and neglecting the establishment of educational institutions like IIM and NID schools.

Venkat also expressed disappointment over the lack of progress in key infrastructure projects such as the Kazipet railway coach factory and the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project, which he claimed were promised but not delivered by the BJP government at the center.
Furthermore, Venkat accused BJP leaders, including Union Minister Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay, and Etela Rajender, of failing to address these issues and called into question their legitimacy in seeking votes from the people of Telangana.
In his closing remarks, Venkat warned voters against supporting the BJP in the upcoming elections, asserting that another term for the party would only result in further neglect and stagnation for the state.
The NSUI state president’s fiery rhetoric underscores the growing political tension in Telangana as parties gear up for the electoral contest, with the BJP facing criticism over its perceived lack of commitment to the state’s development.
