Telangana 10th Class Results Declared: Pass Rate Increases by 2.31%
Hyderabad April 30
The Telangana State Board of Secondary Education has officially released the results for the 10th class examinations, bringing forth notable insights into the academic achievements of students across the state. Education Principal Secretary Burra Venkatesham conducted the unveiling ceremony at the Bashir Bagh office, marking the commencement of a significant moment for students, parents, and educators alike.
This year’s results have brought about a reason for celebration, as the pass rate witnessed a commendable surge of 2.31% compared to the previous year. With a total of 5,05,813 students undertaking the examinations held from March 18 to April 2, the outcome revealed that 4,91,802 students have successfully cleared the assessments, contributing to an impressive overall pass percentage of 91.31%.
A noteworthy trend observed in this year’s results is the remarkable performance of female students, who have surpassed their male counterparts. Girls secured a notable pass percentage of 93.23%, outshining the 89.42% recorded by boys. This shift reflects a significant stride towards gender parity and underscores the dedication and perseverance exhibited by female students across the state.
Beyond individual performance, the results shed light on the educational landscape at the district level. Nirmal district emerged as a frontrunner, clinching the top position in the 10th class results, while Vikarabad district found itself at the lower end of the spectrum. Additionally, the data revealed a heartening statistic, with 3927 schools in Telangana boasting a flawless 100% pass rate, a testament to the collective efforts of students, teachers, and school administrators.

However, amidst the triumphs, there were pockets of concern as six private schools reported a disheartening zero pass percentage. This disparity underscores the need for targeted interventions and support mechanisms to ensure equitable access to quality education for all students, regardless of their institutional affiliations.
As the state celebrates the accomplishments of its young learners, attention now turns towards supporting students in their next academic endeavors, be it higher education or vocational pursuits. The release of the 10th class results marks not just the culmination of an academic journey but also the beginning of new aspirations and opportunities for the bright minds of Telangana.
