Rahul Gandhi Takes a Ride in Delhi Metro, Engages with Common People

New Delhi, May 23: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a ride on the Delhi Metro on Thursday, creating a buzz on social media with videos and photos of his journey going viral. During the metro ride, he interacted with the common people, took selfies with those who asked, spoke with the youth, and played with a child. Many people who saw him up close took pictures.

Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by Kanhaiya Kumar, the candidate for the North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, as they traveled by train to a rally in Mongolpuri. The Congress leader shared photos of his metro journey on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

“I traveled in the metro train with Delhiites. I met fellow travelers and inquired about their well-being. Our (Congress) initiative to build the metro in Delhi has proved to be very convenient for public transport. I am very happy about this,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.

Polling in Delhi is scheduled for the 25th of this month, with the campaign concluding today.
