Pedestrian Critically Injured in Road Accident Captured on CCTV Footage in Nagole

A pedestrian in Nagole was left critically injured after being hit by a speeding car on Thursday. The incident was captured on CCTV and the footage went viral on social media the next day.

The victim, identified as Jai Kumar, was an employee of a real estate company and was walking towards his office while looking at his mobile phone. He was taken by surprise when a car came racing towards him from the opposite direction. Before he could react, the vehicle hit him, causing him to fall on the bonnet and then fling into the air. The car then hit a roadside pole as Jai Kumar fell to the ground about 20 feet away.

Although Jai Kumar sustained injuries, he was fortunate not to have been crushed under the wheels of the car or between the vehicle and the pole. The woman driving the car took Jai Kumar to the hospital, and the police have not yet registered any complaint regarding the incident.

The accident serves as a reminder of the dangers of using mobile phones while walking on the road and the importance of being vigilant of one’s surroundings. It also highlights the need for stricter traffic regulations to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future
