In the wake of the new government in Andhra Pradesh, several high-ranking officials are being transferred. Among these changes, Dharmareddy, who served as the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer (EO) during the previous administration, has been sidelined and subsequently went on leave. In his place, IAS officer J. Shyamal Rao has been appointed as the new TTD EO.
Assumption of Duties
Shyamal Rao officially assumed his duties today. Following tradition, he first visited the Varahaswami temple before having darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala. He was accompanied by his wife and was warmly welcomed by TTD officials. The former EO, Dharmareddy, formally handed over the responsibilities to Shyamal Rao.
Statements and Commitments
During the handover ceremony, Shyamal Rao expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for entrusting him with the esteemed position of TTD EO. He conveyed his sense of fortune at being given the opportunity to serve in such a sacred role.
Shyamal Rao emphasized his commitment to ensuring that devotees visiting Tirumala have a smooth and satisfactory darshan experience. He assured that he would carry out his duties with responsibility and transparency, aiming to uphold the sanctity and efficiency of the TTD administration.
