Telangana State Election Commissioner Visits Sri Durgamalleswara Swamivarla Devasthanam

Vijayawada, August 5, 2024 — Telangana State Election Commissioner C. Parthasarathy and his spouse visited the Sri Durgamalleswara Swamivarla Devasthanam at Indrakiladri in Vijayawada today. They were warmly welcomed by Deputy Collector and Temple Executive Officer K.S. Rama Rao, who conducted a traditional temple ritual to honor their visit.

During their visit, the couple had the opportunity to offer their respects to the goddess. Vedic scholars performed sacred Vedic verses as part of the ceremonial proceedings. Following the religious rituals, the temple executive presented the couple with prasadam (holy offerings), a portrait of the goddess, and other sacred remnants from the temple.

The visit underscored the significance of the temple and provided an opportunity for the Election Commissioner and his spouse to experience the cultural and spiritual heritage of the region.
