TSPSC AE Recruitment Test Leakage Case Transfers to SIT

The Hyderabad City Police has transferred the further investigation of the Assistant Engineer recruitment test leakage case to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Central Crime Station (CCS) in Hyderabad City. The order, issued on March -03-2023, states that the case will be investigated under the direct supervision of the Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes and SIT) in Hyderabad City.

The case was initially reported on March 13th, 2023, with a First Information Report (FIR) filed at the Begumbazar Police Station, Hyderabad City. The FIR was registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Information Technology (IT) Act, and the Telangana Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices and unfair means) Act 1997.

The transfer of the case to the SIT CCS Hyderabad City comes as a step towards ensuring that the investigation is conducted thoroughly and impartially. The Hyderabad City Police has instructed the SHO of Begumbazar PS and the Addl.CP Crimes & SIT to take necessary action in compliance with the order.
