Telangana Congress to Protest PM Modi’s Policies with ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ Rally

Hyderabad, December 16, 2024: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has declared its plans to organize a massive ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ rally on December 18, 2024. Spearheaded by TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, the event will see active participation from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, AICC in-charge Deepa Das Munshi, along with ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and other senior Congress leaders.

The rally is a part of a nationwide protest announced by the All India Congress Committee (AICC), targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stance on pressing national issues. Key among them is the alleged financial irregularities involving Gautam Adani, which recently came to light through a U.S.-based legal case, sparking widespread controversy. The Congress has also accused PM Modi of failing to address the ongoing unrest in Manipur and criticized his decision not to visit the violence-affected region.

The ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ rally will commence at 11 AM from the Indira Gandhi statue at Necklace Road, Hyderabad, and proceed toward Raj Bhavan. The protest underscores the Congress party’s demand for greater accountability from the central government and resolution of issues impacting the nation.

Stay tuned for updates on this significant political development as Telangana Congress leads the charge against the Modi government.
