GVR Karate Academy’s young athletes delivered outstanding performances at the Hyderabad Open Karate Championship held at Saroornagar Stadium on January 10, 2025. In the Kata category, nine-year-old Lakshit Sai secured a gold medal in the boys’ division, while Midhun Sai and Prithviraj each earned silver medals in the 12-year girls’ and boys’ divisions, respectively.

The medal presentation ceremony took place at GVR Karate Academy, with Himayat Nagar Corporator Mahalakshmi Ramanna Goud honoring the winners. She emphasized the importance of karate for self-defense, stating that it empowers individuals to protect themselves and contribute to the nation’s safety.
