Hyderabad, January 26: The 17th All India Horticulture Mela is set to captivate plant and gardening enthusiasts with an exhibition showcasing horticultural and agricultural products from across the country. Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, along with Horticulture Director Sheikh Yasmin Basha and Mela In-charge Khalid Ahmed, unveiled the brochure for the Grand Nursery Mela during a special event.

The mela, organized under the leadership of Khalid Ahmed, will be held at People’s Plaza on Necklace Road, Hyderabad, from January 30 to February 3. The event will be inaugurated by Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and Horticulture Director Sheikh Yasmin Basha. Visitors can explore the mela from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. over five days.

A Showcase of Innovation and Diversity
This year’s mela promises to be a vibrant hub for gardening enthusiasts, farmers, and industry experts. With 150 stalls, the exhibition will feature a wide variety of plants and horticultural products, including medicinal, kitchen, outdoor, bulb, seeds, seed links, indoor plants, adenium, bonsai, creepers, flowers, and imported plants.

Products and techniques from various regions, including Andhra Pradesh, Kolkata, Delhi, Haryana, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Shirdi, Kadiyam, and Chennai, will be on display. Visitors can also explore innovative gardening methods such as terrace gardening, vertical gardening, and the hydroponic system, which are gaining popularity in urban settings.
