Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy, Rythu Bandhu Samiti State President Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, and Agriculture Secretary Raghunandan Rao took off from Begumpet Airport in a helicopter today to survey the crop damage caused by untimely rain and hailstorm in Vikarabad district.
The ministers and officials will be conducting an on-site inspection to assess the extent of the loss suffered by farmers in the affected areas. The visit aims to gather first-hand information on the damage caused by the natural calamity and to provide necessary assistance and support to the affected farmers.
The state government has already announced relief measures for farmers hit by the untimely rain and hailstorm, including compensation for crop loss and free distribution of seeds and fertilizers. The ministers’ visit is expected to provide further inputs to the government’s relief efforts and help in addressing the concerns of the farming community in the region.
