Hyderabad, March 20: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has announced his plans to embark on a statewide padayatra (foot march) starting next year, aiming to bring the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) back to power. While currently touring various districts, KTR stated that his immediate focus is on strengthening the party’s base until December this year.

Speaking on the growing support for BRS, KTR expressed confidence in the party’s resurgence, asserting that the response to its activities has been overwhelmingly positive. He emphasized that defeating the Congress is crucial for the welfare of the people and that returning to power is essential for BRS to fulfill its vision for Telangana.

“Movements, struggles, power, and playing the role of the opposition are not new to the BRS party. Our return to power is a historical necessity to put an end to Congress’s misgovernance,” KTR remarked. He further likened the party’s resilience to a phoenix rising, symbolizing its determination and strength despite challenges.

KTR’s padayatra is expected to energize the party’s cadre and mobilize public support ahead of the upcoming elections, setting the stage for a highly contested political battle in Telangana.
