Telangana SSC Exams from March 21: Over 5.09 Lakh Students to Appear

Hyderabad: The Telangana Secondary School Certificate (SSC) public examinations for the academic year 2024–25 will begin on March 21 and continue until April 4. A total of 5,09,403 students from 11,547 schools across the state will appear for these crucial board exams, according to Krishna Rao, Director of the Government Examinations Department.

Exam Schedule and Timing

The exams will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM daily. However, the First Language (Composite Course) exam will have an extended duration, concluding at 12:50 PM. Meanwhile, the Physical Science and Biological Science exams will be held for a shorter duration, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

Statewide Exam Arrangements

Authorities have set up 2,650 examination centers across Telangana to accommodate the students. Of the total examinees, 2,58,895 are boys and 2,50,508 are girls. The examination department has taken extensive measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams. A total of 2,650 Chief Superintendents (CSs) and Departmental Officers (DOs) have been appointed, along with 28,100 invigilators to oversee the process.

Hall Tickets and Guidelines for Students

Students can download their hall tickets from the official website www.bse.telangana.gov.in. They are advised to verify all details on the hall ticket in advance to avoid any last-minute issues.

While a five-minute grace period will be allowed before the official start time of the exam, Krishna Rao has urged students to arrive at their examination centers at least 30 minutes in advance to avoid any delays. Late arrivals beyond the grace period will not be permitted to enter the exam hall.

Strict Monitoring and Security Measures

The Board of Secondary Education has implemented stringent measures to prevent malpractices. Examination centers will be monitored by flying squads and special teams to ensure a fair and transparent process. Additionally, CCTV cameras have been installed at select centers for surveillance.

The state education department has also coordinated with local police and transport authorities to ensure smooth traffic movement near examination centers, enabling students to reach their venues on time.
