Kakinada, April 9 — In a distressing turn of events, more than 30 students in Andhra Pradesh reportedly missed their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains on Tuesday due to traffic congestion allegedly caused by the convoy of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The students, en route to one of the country’s most important engineering entrance exams, were caught in a severe traffic jam and failed to reach their examination centers on time.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage across the state, with students, parents, and citizens expressing anger over what many are calling a glaring example of administrative negligence and poor planning. Officials argued that the timing of the convoy bore no direct responsibility for the students’ absence. They also noted that the absentee count for the day was reportedly lower than on previous days of the ongoing JEE Mains session — a point being interpreted as an attempt to downplay the incident.
