RCB Thrash Rajasthan Royals by 9 Wickets; Delhi Capitals Opt to Bowl First Against Mumbai Indians

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) continued their impressive run in the ongoing IPL 2025 season with a commanding nine-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The visitors outperformed the hosts in all departments to notch up another convincing win.

Rajasthan Royals, batting first, managed to put up a competitive total of 173/4 in their 20 overs. However, RCB’s top-order made light work of the chase, reaching the target of 174 runs in just 17.3 overs while losing only one wicket.

English opener Phil Salt played a blistering knock, scoring 65 off 33 deliveries with 5 boundaries and 6 sixes. He set the tone for the chase before being dismissed by Jofra Archer, the only wicket-taker for RR.

Virat Kohli continued his fine form with a fluent 62 off 45 balls, which included 4 fours and 2 sixes. Devdutt Padikkal remained unbeaten on 40 off 28 deliveries, steering RCB home with ease.

With this emphatic win, RCB has further solidified their position among the top contenders in the tournament.

Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians: DC Win Toss, Opt to Bowl First

In the second match of the day’s IPL 2025 double-header, Delhi Capitals (DC) won the toss and chose to bowl first against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Delhi Capitals remain the only unbeaten team in the tournament so far, having won all four of their previous matches. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians are in a tough spot, losing four out of their five games played.
