Admitted to the hospital on June 05, 2025, at 2:56 PM following a massive heart attack, his condition deteriorated despite medical efforts, leading to his demise today.

Political Journey
Maganti Gopinath began his political career as a young leader in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), founded by N.T. Rama Rao. He made history as the first president of Telugu Yuvatha in the united Andhra Pradesh, showcasing his early commitment to youth leadership. In 2014, he contested and won as the TDP candidate from Jubilee Hills, marking his entry as an MLA. Later, he joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and secured victory again in 2018, representing the same constituency. Most recently, in 2024, Gopinath triumphed as the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) candidate from Jubilee Hills, cementing his legacy.
