Former Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has vowed to continue his fight to save democracy in India, despite facing disqualification from office or imprisonment. In a press conference held at the AICC headquarters in Delhi, Rahul spoke out about the disqualification imposed on him in Parliament and alleged that he was targeted for questioning about Adani’s affairs.

Rahul accused Prime Minister Modi of having a long-standing friendship with Adani that dates back to Modi’s time as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. He claimed that Modi is accused of turning a blind eye to the shell companies related to Adani and that rules were changed to benefit Adani and tie up airports illegally. Rahul demanded that the details of these shell companies, valued at Rs.20 thousand crores, be made public, and asked who invested in them.

Rahul submitted evidence of the shell companies to the speaker, alleging that there may be a Chinese national involved in them. He accused Union ministers of spreading false propaganda about his speech during his visit to Britain and expressed his frustration at not being given a chance to speak in the House to explain himself.

Despite facing disqualification and imprisonment, Rahul said that he will not back down and will continue to fight for the people of India. He emphasized that he will speak only after proper research and thinking and criticized the drama happening to protect the Prime Minister. Rahul urged the opposition to go to the people and seek their support.
