Hyderabad, August 18, 2025 – Sri Konda Laxman Telangana Horticultural University (SKLTHU), the only horticultural university in Telangana and the fifth of its kind in India, has announced the opening of admissions for its prestigious B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture program for the academic year 2025-26. Program and Campus Details
SKLTHU, accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for five years, offers its B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture program across three well-equipped colleges:
- College of Horticulture, Rajendranagar (Hyderabad): Offering 98 seats under the regular quota (including 10% EWS) at ₹34,595 per semester, 34 seats under the special (payment) quota at ₹62,500 per semester, and 6 seats under the NRI/NRI-sponsored quota at USD 1,500 per semester.
- College of Horticulture, Mojerla (Wanaparthy): Providing 89 seats under the regular quota and 20 seats under the special quota, with the same fee structure as Rajendranagar.
- College of Horticulture, Malyal (Mahbubabad): Offering 33 seats under the regular quota only.
All three campuses boast state-of-the-art facilities, including instructional farms, smart classrooms, advanced laboratories, sports amenities, and separate hostel facilities for male and female students. In addition to tuition fees, students are required to pay hostel mess charges separately and a one-time refundable deposit of ₹14,000 at the time of admission. NRI candidates must also pay the regular semester fee alongside the NRI fee.
