Minister Sridhar Babu Lays Foundation Stone for District Registrar & Integrated Sub-Registrar Offices at Gachibowli

Hyderabad, August 20, 2025 – Hon’ble Minister for IT, Industries, and Legislative Affairs, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, laid the foundation stone for the District Registrar Office and Integrated Sub-Registrar Offices at Gachibowli on Wednesday.

Speaking at the ceremony, Sridhar Babu emphasized that the government’s sole commitment is the welfare of the people and assured that every step being taken is directed toward improving public services.

He said that with the aid of advanced technology, the government is determined to deliver services directly to the citizens’ doorstep, ensuring convenience, transparency, and efficiency.

Highlighting the government’s vision for the capital city, Sridhar Babu said, “Our Government is firmly committed to the holistic development of Hyderabad. As testimony to this resolve, an unprecedented ₹10,000 crore allocation was made in the recent Budget.”

The Minister added that the government is implementing consistent measures to enhance urban living standards and has already rolled out several initiatives to improve the quality of life for citizens.

Explaining the concept behind the new initiative, Sridhar Babu noted that Integrated Registration Offices are being established to provide greater convenience to the public visiting for registrations. These offices aim to bring multiple services under one roof, reducing time and procedural hurdles.

He also commended Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy for his persistent efforts in leveraging technology to simplify registration services.

Reiterating the government’s commitment, Sridhar Babu said, “Inspired by this spirit, our Government will continue to introduce more transformative reforms in the registration process, setting benchmarks and becoming a role model for other States in the days to come.”

The event was attended by senior officials, public representatives, and citizens, who welcomed the government’s focus on modern, citizen-friendly governance.
