Hyderabad March 29:
Former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu has urged party leaders and activists to rebuild the party in Andhra Pradesh and regain its past glory in Telangana. Speaking at a meeting to celebrate TDP’s 41st Foundation Day in Hyderabad, Naidu emphasized the importance of the TDP for the people of Telangana and pledged to continue welfare schemes in both Telugu states if the party comes back to power.
Naidu also promised to create assets and distribute them to the poor while improving their economic conditions. He invited donations from the public to support the party’s efforts to regain its foothold in Telangana and encourage decent personalities to participate in politics. Naidu expressed confidence that the TDP would regain its past glory in Telangana and lauded the Intintiki Telugu Desam (Telugu Desam to every doorstep) program, which he said was progressing well.
Naidu also praised TDP founder Late NT Rama Rao’s contributions to the Telugu community and highlighted the party’s achievements in providing equal rights for women in ancestral property. He announced that centenary celebrations for NTR would be organized at 100 places in Telugu states and worldwide, with the next meeting set to take place in Rajahmundry.

Naidu also reflected on his efforts to develop Cyberabad and Hyderabad and shared his role in introducing mobile phones to India, which he said Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee later implemented based on his report.
