The town of Bhadrachalam in Telangana is abuzz with preparations for the Sri Sitaramula Kalyana Mahotsava, a grand celebration of Sri Rama Navami. The Kalyana Mandapam at the Mithila Stadium has been beautifully decorated and canopies covering an area of 2.40 lakh square feet have been set up for the comfort of devotees.
Minister of Religion Allola Indrakaran Reddy and Minister of Transport Puvvada Ajay Kumar will present pearls and silk robes on behalf of the state government. The ceremony starts at 10:30 AM and Kalyanam is performed in Abhijitlagnam in the afternoon.
Devotees from all over the country are arriving in large numbers to witness the auspiciousness of Lord Ram. The temple authorities have prepared two lakh laddos for the devotees. Governor Tamilisai will attend the coronation of Sri Rama Empire Pushkara to be held on Friday.
