Tirupati, March 30, 2023:

The annual Brahmotsavam commenced with great fervor at the Srikodandaramaswamy temple in Chandragiri on Thursday morning. The flag-hoisting ceremony marked the beginning of the grand event, which witnessed the participation of devotees from various parts of the country.

As a part of the Brahmotsavam, all the deities were invited to the temple, and a special program was organized. The Dhwajarohanam Ghatta was conducted between 7:45 am to 8:15 am in Mesha Lagna, with Kankanabhattar Srinivasabhattar leading the ceremony. During this, the priests performed a special pooja for the banner with the image of Garutman, after which the flag was hoisted on the flagpole amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras by the priests and Ramana by the devotees.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy EO Devendra Babu, AEO Partha Saradhi, Superintendent Srinivasulu, Temple Inspector Gopala Krishna, and devotees. The event marked the beginning of the Brahmotsavam, which will witness various rituals and celebrations over the coming days.
