Maharashtra farmer leaders join BRS
Several farmer leaders belonging to Maharashtra Shetkari Sangathan (Maharashtra Rythu Sangham) joined the BRS party in the presence of BRS National President and CM KCR at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad
CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), and BRS National President at Telangana Bhavan. The speech was made at a meeting with leaders of Maharashtra, where the leaders of the Maharashtra Shetkari Sangathan (Farmers Association) were invited into the party by wearing a pink scarf.

He mentioned that the farmers’ suicides have been zero in Telangana since the formation of the state and highlighted the development programs being implemented in the state.
KCR emphasized the need to address farmers’ problems and suggested that only farmers can solve farmers’ problems. He questioned why the Maharashtra government, with a bigger budget than Telangana, has not solved farmers’ problems. He talked about the resources available in the country, including water, and suggested that more could be done to utilize these resources for the benefit of farmers.
