BJP Announces New National Office-Bearers Under Nitin Nabin
New Delhi, August 17: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced its new team of national office-bearers under the leadership of party National President Nitin Nabin. The appointments, announced through a press release issued by the BJP Central Office, will come into effect immediately.
Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Jay Panda and D. Purandeshwari are among the 13 leaders appointed as National Vice Presidents.
Other National Vice Presidents include Rekha Verma, Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi, Dr. Bharti Pravin Pawar, Sardar Manpreet Singh Badal, Lal Singh Arya, Prof. M. Nagaraja, Prof. Tariq Mansoor and Dr. Madhuchandra Kar.
Former Union Minister Smriti Irani has been appointed as a National General Secretary, along with Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Dr. Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia.
B.L. Santhosh will continue as National General Secretary (Organisation), while Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been appointed National Joint General Secretaries (Organisation).
The party has also appointed 16 National Secretaries, including K. Surendran, Dr. Bhola Singh, Dr. Pradip Varma, Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel, Dr. Sandeep Pathak, Phangnon Konyak, Sangeeta Yadav, Anil Antony and Dr. M. Venkateshan, among others.
Piyush Goyal has been appointed National Treasurer and Rajesh Mangal National Joint Treasurer. Tarun Chugh will serve as Central Office In-charge, while Mahendra Pandey has been appointed Central Office Secretary.
In other key appointments, Dr. Sambit Patra has been named North-East Coordinator and Rajiv Babbar North-East Joint Coordinator. Vishnu Datt Sharma will serve as All Cells Coordinator, with Rituraj Sinha and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy as Joint Coordinators.
Morcha Presidents
The BJP also announced presidents for its various frontal organisations. Dr. Hemang Joshi has been appointed Yuva Morcha president, Roop Kumari Choudhary Mahila Morcha president, Amarpal Maurya OBC Morcha president and Bansilal Gurjar Kisan Morcha president.
Shivesh Kumar Ram will head the SC Morcha, Dr. Mannalal Rawat the ST Morcha and Kunwar Basit Ali the Minority Morcha.
The party has also reshuffled its media and social media wings. Anil Baluni has been appointed Media Convener, while Deepak Mhaske will serve as Social Media Convener.
The revamp brings a mix of experienced leaders and younger faces into key organisational positions, with the party focusing on strengthening its national organisational structure and regional representation.
