Jaipur, August 21, 2026: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Friday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of involvement in an alleged attack on CJP members during their visit to a government school in Rajasthan.

The CJP team had reportedly visited the school in Rampura-Kanwarpura village as part of its nationwide ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign, aimed at highlighting problems in government schools.

CJP co-convener Ashutosh Ranka, who was part of the visiting team, alleged that the activists had gone to inspect the condition of a government school that had allegedly been operating from a buffalo shed for several years.

Speaking to IANS, Dipke alleged that the team came under attack after reaching the village. He claimed that stones were thrown at the members, vehicles were damaged and some women members were assaulted.

Dipke further alleged that individuals associated with the BJP were responsible for the attack, describing the incident as “hooliganism”. The allegations could not be independently verified.

CJP Questions Government Over School Conditions

Defending the school inspection campaign, Dipke questioned why the government would object to activists highlighting shortcomings in government schools.

He alleged that the school lacked basic facilities, including adequate water supply and teachers, and argued that the focus should be on improving educational infrastructure rather than preventing people from inspecting schools.

“Why do they have such a problem with getting the school fixed?” Dipke said, arguing that there would have been no need for the CJP team to visit if the school had adequate facilities.

He also alleged that several government schools were facing other problems, including unauthorised entry by outsiders.

According to Dipke, the CJP has encountered instances where outsiders allegedly entered school premises to consume alcohol or drugs, while questions were raised when activists visited schools to highlight the lack of basic amenities.

Warning Ahead of Elections

The CJP founder alleged that the BJP was attempting to intimidate people from raising questions about government schools. He claimed that public awareness had increased following the party’s recent agitation at Jantar Mantar.

Dipke also said the CJP would continue its campaign and warned that the BJP would face public opposition in the upcoming elections.

The allegations come amid a broader political debate over the condition of government schools and access to basic educational facilities in Rajasthan. Further clarification from the Rajasthan government or BJP regarding the allegations was not included in the information available.
