“Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden in Full Bloom, Open for Tourists in Jammu and Kashmir”

The Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden, which is the largest tulip garden in Asia, is now open for tourists. Situated amidst the picturesque scenery of Dal Lake and Zabarwan Hills, the garden, also known as Siraj Bagh, is displaying 1.5 million tulips of various colours and hues, along with other spring flowers like hyacinths, daffodils, muscari, and cyclamens.

The success of the tulip gardens of Srinagar in attracting tourists every spring has inspired officials of the Jammu and Kashmir administration to replicate the floriculture initiative in other parts of the Union Territory. This move is expected to boost tourism in the region.

Visitors to the garden are in for a treat, as they can witness the stunning beauty of the tulips, which bloom for a brief period in spring. The garden’s opening is eagerly awaited by locals and tourists alike, and officials are expecting a significant footfall this year as well.
