Hyderabad April 2:Telangana State Wakf Board Chairman, Mohammed Masiullah Khan, along with Commissioner Minorities Welfare Janab B. Shafiullah, IFS., flagged off vehicles carrying Ramzan gift packets on Sunday at the Haj House in Nampally. The government-sponsored gift packs will be distributed among 4.5 lakh poor and deserving families, as part of the annual Ramzan celebrations. A total of 815 Masjid managing committees will receive the gift packets along with Rs. 1 Lakh for Iftar/Dinner, and each committee will distribute 500 packs. Khan expressed gratitude towards Hon’ble Chief Minister KCR Garu for launching this scheme to enable the poor to celebrate Ramadan Eid, stating that the Telangana State Government is committed to supporting the underprivileged. Present at the event were Wakf Board CEO Khaja Moinuddin, officials from Director Minorities Welfare, Wakf Board, and other departments.
