SpaceX’s highly anticipated first orbital flight of Starship could take place as early as April 10, according to reports. Although CEO Elon Musk previously suggested that the launch could happen in the third week of April, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has released an air traffic advisory listing April 10 as a primary launch date. Furthermore, Musk recently liked a tweet stating the same date, along with a GIF of a rocket launching. The company has already conducted fueling tests with Booster 7 on the orbital launch mount and has rolled out Ship 24 to Starbase’s orbital launch pad, in preparation for the test flight.

However, SpaceX is yet to receive a launch license from the FAA, and there is a possibility of a civil suit being filed over environmental issues that could result in a temporary injunction blocking the flight. Starship is designed to be fully and rapidly reusable, with a giant first-stage booster called Super Heavy and a 50 metres upper-stage spacecraft. The test flight will launch Ship 24 for one lap around Earth, culminating in a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean
