Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav of Telangana has accused Prime Minister Modi of hindering the development of the state despite the aid provided by the Centre. He stated that Modi only spoke about politics during his visit to the state and questioned his love for Telangana, citing previous comments on the formation of the state. In response, Modi denied the allegations and called for a focus on Telangana’s development, including the issue of job creation and the state’s per capita income.

Modi also raised concerns about corruption, specifically questioning the allocation of contracts to Adani in Sri Lanka and calling for investigations into Adani’s activities. He also challenged Talasani’s claims of corruption in BJP, asking why there were no investigations into corruption allegations against BJP CMs.

During Modi’s visit to the state, CM KCR was not invited, and Talasani questioned why Modi did not address the guarantees of the Partition Act. He also criticized Union Minister Kishan Reddy for not doing enough for the state, particularly in Secunderabad.

Talasani challenged Modi to engage in a constructive discussion about the issues facing Telangana, but also stated that he was willing to accept criticism in Delhi rather than having the Prime Minister curse them in Hyderabad.
