The Telangana state government, under the direction of Chief Minister KCR, has ordered the opening of grain purchase centers across the state. State Ministers Harish Rao, Gangula Kamalakar, and Niranjan Reddy conducted a high-level review of grain purchases with district officials and FCI officials at BRS Bhavan.

As per the orders, officials have been instructed to start setting up the purchase centers from Tuesday to enable farmers to sell their whole grain produce. The government aims to set up a total of 7100 purchase centers across the state for this purpose.

The move is expected to bring relief to farmers who have been struggling to sell their produce due to the lack of purchase centers in the region. With the opening of these centers, farmers can now easily sell their produce and earn a fair price for their hard work.

The Telangana government has been taking several initiatives to support the state’s agriculture sector, and the opening of these grain purchase centers is yet another step in that direction. Farmers and industry experts have welcomed the move, and it is expected to have a positive impact on the state’s economy.
