New Delhi, April 14:

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has issued a summons for Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, to appear for questioning on Sunday, April 16, in connection with the Delhi excise policy case. This follows the recent arrest of AAP leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, as well as several other arrests made in the same investigation.

Despite allegations made by the BJP that Kejriwal was the mastermind behind the alleged fraud, this marks the first time that he has been summoned by the CBI in relation to the case. Along with this, the Goa Police have also summoned Kejriwal to appear for questioning on April 27 in connection with an alleged defacement of public property.

Responding to these developments, Kejriwal has stated that all AAP leaders must be prepared to face jail time, as the Election Commission has officially recognized the party as a national party. The news has garnered attention, as it marks a significant moment in the ongoing investigation, with several high-profile individuals being implicated in the case.
