Hyderabad April 15:

State Minister for Finance and Health, Harish Rao, along with Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Sabita Indra Reddy, and Satyavati Rathore attended the SERP Employees’ Appreciation Meeting at Gachibowli Stadium. During the meeting, Minister Harish Rao praised the performance of SERP employees and highlighted the government’s efforts to support their work.

Minister Rao emphasized that during the Telangana movement, Chief Minister KCR fought to protect the jobs of 4,000 SERP employees when the united state government threatened to remove them. Since then, the government has given 11 percent increment and 30 percent fitment to the employees. Additionally, the dream of prc for two decades has now come true, albeit delayed by the pandemic.

Minister Harish Rao commended KCR for not backing down despite the injustice from the Center in the matter of allocation of funds. He also stated that the BRS government fulfilled its promise to the employees even if the Center did not provide 45 thousand crore rupees.

Moreover, Minister Rao highlighted the state government’s efforts to support women’s groups in Telangana by providing interest-free loans of up to 3 lakhs without any mortgage. He added that the government returned 217 crores of money taken by banks in the name of high interest.

Minister Harish Rao also urged SERP employees to spread awareness about the development in Telangana under KCR’s regime and to counter the lies spread by the opposition. He pointed out that the performance of SERP employees is evidenced by the awards given by the Centre.

Lastly, Minister Rao assured the employees that the government would support them in every way possible, and praised their role in eradicating rural poverty. He urged them to explain to the public the attitude of the central government towards Telangana, which has not provided its subsidized share for interest-free loans for six years.

In conclusion, the meeting showcased the government’s commitment to supporting the employees and its efforts to improve the state’s economic and social development.
