Hyderabad April 16:

A tragic incident occurred at the Kushaiguda police station in Hyderabad, where three members of a family were burnt alive in a fire that broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning. The victims were identified as Naresh (35), Suma (28), and their son Joshith (5), hailing from Reddyguden, Tungathurthi mandal of Yadadri Bhuvangiri district. The whereabouts of another child is yet to be ascertained.

The fire reportedly started at a nearby timber depot around 3 am and quickly spread to the building where the family was residing. Upon receiving the information, the fire brigade rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. However, it was too late to save the family, who had already been engulfed by the flames.

The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, the family members and relatives of the deceased are mourning the loss of their loved ones. The dead bodies were shifted to Gandhi Mortuary for postmortem.

This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety measures and the need for everyone to be vigilant in ensuring that their surroundings are safe from fire hazards.
