Anantapur, April 26
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s helicopter developed a technical snag on Wednesday at Narpala in Anantapur district. The pilot noticed a malfunction in the fuel supply system of the chopper before take-off. As a result, the chief minister had to travel by road to Puttaparthi after addressing a public meeting at Narpala mandal headquarters. The CM’s security personnel arranged for vehicles for his travel to Puttaparthi, and he reached the airport at 3.20 p.m. to fly to Gannavaram Airport at Vijayawada. In January, the chief minister’s flight had made an emergency landing at Gannavaram Airport due to a technical snag.
