On the occasion of the installation of the new secretariat in its chamber, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao signed six files outlining various schemes and initiatives for the state of Telangana.

The first file signed by the Chief Minister was related to the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme in the year 2023-24. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to Dalit families and has been approved to be applied at the rate of 1100 beneficiaries per constituency in 118 constituencies of the state, except for Huzurabad, which has already been fully implemented.

The second file signed by CM KCR was related to the distribution of land titles. Under this scheme, the government will undertake a district-wise distribution program starting from May, providing land titles to 1 lakh 35 thousand beneficiaries for about 3.9 lakh acres.

CM KCR also signed the file regarding beneficiaries of CMRF funds, providing financial assistance to those in need. Additionally, he signed the file related to the Palamuru Lift Irrigation project, aimed at improving the irrigation facilities in the region.

The Chief Minister also signed the file related to the regularization of contract employees in the state, providing job security to many contractual workers.

Lastly, CM KCR signed the file related to the KCR Nutrition Kit for pregnant women. The scheme aims to provide nutrition kits to pregnant women across all districts of the state. With a budget of Rs. 277 crores allocated for the initiative, 6.84 lakh pregnant women will benefit from the distribution of 13.08 lakh kits across the state, each worth Rs. 2000.
